Coral Triangle Day
Joining with our partner Mission Blue, we are celebrating the incredible marine biodiversity of the Pacific Ocean and seas in South-East Asia. As well as the greatest proportion of coral and related fish species, the area is home to six of the world’s seven species of marine turtle, as well as blue whales, sperm whales, dolphins and the endangered dugongs. As a recognised ‘dive spot’ on the global stage, we want to bring to life how this vital marine area can be both protected, and enjoyed on a sustainable basis through ecotourism, bringing valuable income to island states. Our webinars will inspire ‘hope’ in one of the most important marine areas globally.
